Parents can't reach their babies but staff can

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Almost all of them, no Get Famous, Island Living, kitchen stuff, bowling night, romantic garden
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have infants in your house, move the family to a new house, it might trigger.
What happens when the bug occurs? My Sim parents waved helplessly with the no pathway bubble. I made Dad step directly in front of the bassinet and still he 'couldn't reach' her. I was getting the 'your kid is starving, we'll take your baby' warnings. The butler finally caught up with us, walked in and fed the baby. This happened once before that I was able to correct. The hanging light couldn't be walked under. Super stupid but that's what it was. I now build all floors with the highest ceiling possible. I have just moved in and there's nothing anywhere in the room but 3 infants and 2 hanging mobiles plus 1 photonic conserver. This should not even be a thing. ETA: Once the butler fed the baby, then my parents could. It seemed to 'break' whatever was impeding the parents.
What do you expect to see? My parents caring for their babies.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

I followed the instructions to find the game version but I don't think that's it...
In any case, not being able to walk under a light hanging from the ceiling is ridiculous. We do it every day IRL.
