Parents can't reach their babies but staff can

@TygerNight This usually happens if the butler or another Sim already takes 'ownership' of taking care of the baby. So if the other Sim already engaged, this can happen.

How often do you still get this ?

I'm familiar with the infuriating NPC who has decided they alone will answer the baby's cries even though they are 2 floors away and my parent is right there. *sigh*

Maybe the butler was on the edge of the lot somewhere when they decided to tend the baby, that could have blocked my parents... hmmm.

It's not generally a problem, but it was so distressing at the time that I had to mention it. 🙂

    @TygerNight I agree. Sometimes the kids lock the parents out and they can't even do anything about the babies needs.
