People being deleted from game

in my legacy save Malcolm landgraab married one of my legacy heirs and I went back on the family tree and he is marked as unknown and is completely gone from the game however, it still shows that Nancy and Geoffrey are his parents, but on the family tree at marks as unknown. Also, I play on Xbox so I have no custom content or mods that could cause this
