While I was playing the Sims and trying to buy a pet I realized that the only option was dog and cats 🤔🤔 which is great but would be better if their were more options. Like for example turtles, birds, fish, snakes 🤷🏿♀️, pigs, lizards. Not only will this give more options but even more people will be willing to buy the cats and dogs pack 😋😋😌.

The Sims Team received this feedback a lot when the pack came out in 2017.
Unfortunately, there’s only been a single pack refresh ever, so I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for more animals to be added to Cats and Dogs. Sorry! It’s possible, but I think it’s unlikely.

This is why I couldn't wait to add My First Pet, just for variety. Unfortunately there was a console bug which meant I couldn't purchase it for ages. Finally got it though and yay...tiny rodents!
I miss the lizards from Sims 3 Pets though...and I don't know why someone gave us a Bubalus when I really wanted the parrot back from Sims Bustin Out. I loved that parrot and it would be so simple to add just as a decor item.
Maybe it's another one for Project Rene. Perhaps the feedback over the years will take effect in the next installment of the franchise 🤞.
@Justicetheroblox , I agree! I grew up with dogs and parakeets,🦜 and while I can have dogs in my game, I cannot have my beloved parakeets. And one of my best friends has a lizard, 2 snakes, and a turtle! 🦎🐍🐢
I really hope they add these, but I have to agree with @xochiquetzl_xkvn that I don't think it is very likely. But I also agree with @simsplayer818 in that they may include these types of pets with Project Rene! 🤞
