The rewards that you earn are credited/linked to your account and you can still get the event reward if you get the pack later that the reward is linked to. The following quote is from an EA article about the last event and it would be the same in this current event also
“What if I don’t own the Expansion Pack?
A: Players need to own the corresponding pack in order to access the rewards. You can claim the reward to your EA account before you own the pack, no worries! It will unlock for you once you have the Pack.”
