CGrant56​  No, it was a new build. My sim had never used either the pottery wheel or the kiln yet. I even deleted it and re-purchased the pottery wheel multiple times. Also (debug) reset the wheel and the sims as well. Nothing has worked 

ADTR_Forever_21​  Ok, gonna be Capt. Obvious for a sec.  Have you placed a chair in front of the pottery wheel?  It attaches just like desk or dining chairs.  You can't make anything without the chair as the sim needs to sit down to use it.  And in case you didn't add the chair, you're not alone.  I did it too when I started putting them in my builds.

ADTR_Forever_21​ OK, so a new build.  Pottery station has a chair attached.  Have you checked for a route block?  Could be a low hanging light or an object placed off grid.  Matter of fact, make sure the chair and pottery wheel are on grid.
One thing I thought of is to save the lot to your Library and either place it on another lot or bulldoze the existing lot and replace it with the copy.  Other than that, I'm out of ideas on what it could be.
