Power conservation and businesses and hobbies

Hi so since I bought businesses and hobbies, I’ve had this problem quite often where the power conservation from eco lifestyle will make the power go out way more than it did before. Because of this, I cannot have my sims open their pottery studio because you need power for it. I even turned npc voting off and eco footprint gameplay in settings. I don’t know what the problem is but it’s really annoying because I want to play with the store open and I can’t. Please someone let me know if you have had this issue too and how to fix it. I am on console so no mods or cc for help please. Thanks guys.
