Problems with external drawing tablet and tattooing

Hi, this might be a bit of a niche issue, but I am curious if people have a solution nonetheless. I am an artist, and I use a huion drawing tablet that plugs into my computer through a USB port. When Businesses and Hobbies came out with the custom tattoo option, I was (and am) super excited about using that tablet to design some really cool tattoos. However... every time I put my stylus to the tablet to start drawing, the CAS camera starts spinning at top speed! 

What's even more frustrating is that it let me draw with my tablet, once. And now it won't work. I don't know if this is the Sims or my tablet, though everything seems to be in working order on that end. Please share your thoughts and ideas!
