PS4: bb.enablefreebuild and trophies

Hiya!

I thought I read that the free build cheat does not disable trophies, but I just completed the “listen to all radio stations and watch all channels” trophy, but once my sim completed this challenge I didn’t receive the trophy. Did enabling free build to fix University Housing ruin my trophy game??? 😢😢😢 I didn’t receive a notification trophies would be disabled once I entered the code.

Is there a way to see if trophies have been disabled? I have played for years without cheating, and I will be SO SAD if I’m no longer able to get trophies because I revamped a sucky house.

@Rae_Regenbogen The only cheats I have seen mentioned that don't disable trophies are bb.showliveeditobjects mentioned here https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/news/patch-118
And bb.moveobjects mentioned here https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/news/patch-v120
If you have a backup from before you used the cheat, you should reload if you are after trophies.

If you have a backup from before you used the cheat, you should reload if you are after trophies.

Thank you for your help! I’ve played this game too much since I started university to go back, and I’m not even sure if I have a separate save before she started. I guess trophies are out for me now. I’m gonna check to be sure I’ve actually watched all channels and listened to all stations though because I realized she hasn’t watched the strangerville channel. 🙃
Do you know of a way to see if trophies have or have not been disabled? I’m on PS4, and I thought I should have received a notice if I was about to turn off trophies?

@Rae_Regenbogen I don't know if there's a way to check if they are disabled in a save. It'd be nice if the save had a symbol on it or something if cheats were activated that disabled trophies. Sort of like how other games put an M on the save if it's modded and trophies were disabled.
If you activate testing cheats on a save it'll tell you trophies are disabled, but that's the only notice I know of.
It's a bummer about your save. I'd be upset as well.
