Seeking threads on this.
I have had aging issues for well ages. Since growing together when the big bug occurred that was supposedly fixed.
So I found this thread which is explaining of my issue.
When I turn on aging, all households start aging up, elders die.
The option I WANT to use is age active households only. So that would not mean ALL played households but just the one I am playing at the time.
BUT that's not what happens. All households are aging, I can say for sure all played households. I am getting bombarded with notices when I turn aging on like I'd like.
I normally do not play with aging off and do not want to but am being forced to b/c this is not working properly.
I have tested with and without mods. - Sketch7932 years agoSeasoned Ace
Unfortunately, the option you want doesn't exist. There is no option for auto-aging only the active household.

Yes, there is. This option should only age active household but you also need to turn off aging for unplayed households separately.
Locking this thread for necro as it's from 2018. There are other more active threads in the bug forum for aging issues., If none of them cover what you're seeing, please make your own thread.
