Would have saved a lot of players being frustrated if this was disclosed from the start. Lots of wasted time today.

@Wyattsmama2008, I read the same thing as you, and my husband also confirms it: it really says 30th of may at the bottom of the article, not the 13th of june. So, I don't know what @EA_Cade is referring to or has the information from.
It also says to be on multiple platforms, but it is not showing up on my PC (windows + basegame + backyard stuff + blooming room kit) or on my PS4 (no mods allowed there, so that can't be the issue). Both are up to date and everything.

As we need to have our computer with us to not miss out when on vacation, it would be great if the dates could be published that are planned for each country. Australia seems to not have it yet, is there a place where we can look up when it will be released to us?
Why was this never explained in the actual announcement. Classic EA being useless.
Could you please update the article to say that some players will not receive the Event thing until later, because I have repaired the game and everything. No mods for me, I'm using the EA-app. I thought it was me, but now I see that some players simply will not receive it the 1st of June but have to wait 2 weeks? There is nothing in the dev diary that states that. Please update it and consider this feedback that it sucks that some people can get it immediately and some people have to wait 2 weeks and perhaps not have a chance to fully get all the rewards...
There is no Popup for the current event.
Device: PC
Launcher: EA-App
Country: Germany
Lenguage Setting: English
Date of Update: 31.5.2024
OS: Windows 10 Pro with all updates
Already tried:
- Disableing all mods
- Removing all mods from the folder
- Deleting all cache via explorer
- Deleting cache via repair feature (EA-App)
- Removing the entire Sims 4 folder (Documents\Electronic Arts)
- Deinstalled the game (& deleted all files left) and reinstalled it
Not even a completely 100% fresh install triggers the popup. I thought PC was one of the first plattforms to get it. I don´t even have the game on steam it´s on the EA-App and only there. So there can´t be an issue.
Anyone any more ideas?

I am running the game and DLC purchased on Steam, have downloaded all updates, removed all mods and cleared the cache (can't do a game repair in steam). Win 11
And @EA_Cade it would be helpful if the Dev Diary called out the delayed rollout that is apparently happening or specify some of the groups that are in later rollout (geographic, platform, last time played, certain packs anything) and probable dates for these groups. Because if the 5 weeks to collect window is somehow trigger for when the event first starts for anyone ie 30 May (I gather the idea is that you have 5 weeks from when you first get it in your game but given the way this rollout has happened who knows) then there is less than 4 weeks after 13 June from today to allow for all event rewards to be collected.
Can you blame the player base for being confused and put off by not only timed release content of what could have been SDX drops but not even knowing when they get the event as the support page has no mention of a multi week start window so how are we meant to know if not seeing the pop it is a bug/ mod conflict or apparently expected behaviour.
- Help, please; does anyone know if it’s necessary to be logged into your EA account to be able to receive these daily log-in rewards, or is it enough simply to load into the main menu while connected to internet? I’m a console player & confused by the “log in” wording, & I haven’t been able to find an answer despite looking everywhere.
I’ve personally not yet seen the prompt in my main menu, either, & my EA account isn’t linked due to it failing to work when I’d attempted numerous times in the past, so any insight would be greatly appreciated! - Laurnarose2 years agoNew Scout
I have two PC computers in the house that use the same SIMS account. On my main computer I have logged in to Sims every day and I have not been able to click on the Happy At home tile on the opening page to come up and allow me to chose a reward. The secondary computer for a family member, did show the Happy at Home rewards screen one time only, but the family member did not click on it because they were not the main owner of the account. After that the Tile on that computer login screen has not been available again. I have repaired the game on both computers. Is there anything else that I should try?
Funny how EA can roll out things they want us to pay for all at once but can't do the same with the "rewards". Thanks once more for your stunning ineptness, EA. I've been a customer since The Sims in 2000 and have almost all the expansions for all the games, but I won't be giving EA any more of my money ever.
What is part of a phased rollout?
I still can't find the Frieze Bunny tile at 2024-06-04 14:00(GMT +9), is this also a normal situation?
I disabled the mod, restored the EA app and the game, and tried everything else, but nothing changed. What can I do?

To answers your question...my friend in Spain and my friend in the UK have already got the event.
I'm from the netherlands and it still haven't started for me

I'm in Spain, logging in every day and still nothing. Every sinlgle time I remove all my mods (edit: also delete the cache files), cause I heard they could interfiere, and start the game without them. Still, no pop-up, just the normal menu I get all the time.
This is ridiculous.

So some of us have to wait longer then others and have issues with our games after the update. But the only thing that was patched today, was the only way I could use the rewards like most oft the players?

Yeah, it’s outrageous that the only thing they ”fixed” is people no longer being able to access the items due to EA not giving access to the event. Fix your buggy a** mess of an event first.
Why isn't this information out there? Nowhere does it say it will be available to all by June 13th. This is JUST PLAIN MEAN

Two whole weeks to make this avaliable to everyone is a bit ridiculous.
The last time I posted about this was on the 6th of June for Aussies/5th for the Americans. Still decided to log in everyday to see if I was wrong but hey guess what... Still nothing. I understand this is a staggered roll out to everyone and yes the items are free to everyone but from reading alot of the comments above on this post it really feels like Australia was just missed in this event.. I have decided to wait till the 14th (this will be the 13th for Americans) before filing another report to EA but I just do not understand why this wasn't rolled out to everyone at the same time & not at the same time as new packs/kits. It feels very poorly done by EA. Again I love the Sims I have been playing since Sims 1 days, but oof why bother doing events like this if it can't be implemented the right way. Hopefully EA learns from this event & does it right in the future. 😳

It's 12 June and still not received the freezer bunny pop up on the main menu. I'm aware of the fact that they said 13 June and that I'm ahead of time being in the UK, so is there a time cut off that we should be aware of before making devs aware of the fact that we still haven't received the main menu pop up.
To confirm, I've disabled all mods, repaired the game and cleared the cache. The EA App keeps telling me to claim Week 2 rewards, but I've not even got the pop up on the main menu to claim and I've logged into the game every day this month. Screenshots attached.
