The issue with Prom not showing on the calendar was fixed, but now, there is no prompt or wall notification popping up for my teen to attend.

She created a promposal sign and presented it to her boyfriend who accepted. This was on a Tuesday when the wall notification pops up saying to get ready for Prom. Her boyfriend had a sentiment about how he was impressed with her promposal. But when Saturday arrived, there was no way for them to go to the event. So I thought maybe the promposal wasn't enough and she actually had to ask him too. So the next Tuesday when the get ready for prom notification popped, she went home after school and created her promposal sign again and presented it to him the next day. Again he accepted. Then I had her click on him and select the prom option and confirmed that asking him to prom was greyed out because he was already set to go with her. As you can see in the second photo it is 7:09pm and nothing. I had her wait a while after that too. The only thing that popped up was for the romance festival. Now her boyfriend has a sentiment about how he is resentful because of no prom invite. Which seems strange because he was invited and you can plainly see that in both photos. The second one has the wall notification of his acceptance.

I have been waiting so long for prom to be fixed as I really wanted them to have the experience before I graduate them. I took time off from work to make sure they were ready to graduate so this is immensely disappointing.

All packs up to getaway, never cc and only use one mod but I have not put it back in since the update.

I will try the suggestion that you listed, but I have two things to say about it because even if it does work after enabling that setting, there will still be a problem. And here is why....
I have had allow friendly invites and requests disabled almost since I started playing because of the incessant spam calls and texts from random sims. That nonsense slowed down my game a lot and was a complete waste of time.
Prior to prom disappearing from the calendar, prom worked and my teens got the invite just fine. So, I should not have to enable friendly invites and requests as there is obviously some other problem going on.

I would appreciate it if you can move my post out of this thread back to its own thread because as I have explained above, this is a new issue and the solution you have listed would only be a temporary work around for me. I want this to function as it always has for me. Something got broke somehow and someone needs to actually fix it. Please don't expect me to use an unacceptable shortcut.
