Re: I can't buy books from the bookshelf or food from vendors

I would suspect a mod or some sort of cc conflict. I play a lot and have not seen this in my game.

Along with removing (not disabling) mods / cc the localthumbcache.package needs to be deleted.
Testing on a vanilla (no mods/cc) folder is the best way to investigate causes of issues.
