If you're able and willing to use mods, Lumpinou has one that lets you decide whether you want to carry your science baby as a pregnancy or bring it home right away. (Sims Team, this might be a popular feature...)

- @xochiquetzl_xkvn I read there is already a MOD available, mods creators are really fast!
However, I try to play without them, I only use some CAS cc. Thank you for suggesting it though ♥ It's strange that they've done it that way. People I know who have had a real life "science baby" as they put it have gone through that incredibly difficult process, sometimes for over a decade just to be able to experience the pregnancy. They definitely weren't presented with an instant bundle of joy! I imagine they'll realise their oversight at some point and correct this stage at a later date.
