@Jennahoot Don't think you can buy it from crop patch. Where did you see that you can (maybe a mod someone used) ?

@crinrict I just want to say for the record, so @Jennahoot doesn't think she's crazy, that I used to be able to purchase Super Vitality Fertilizer from the crop patch. I used to have two options, the Vitality Fertilizer and the Super Vitality Fertilizer. And I know this because I used to think those were the only fertilizers in the game until I went to the Crumplebottom's stall and saw Hassle Free and Grow Fast Fertilizers. I distinctly remember when I saw them because I thought to myself "What's this?" and I hovered over them to read their descriptions.
Now the options I have from the crop patch are Vitality Fertilizer and Hassle Free Fertilizer which, as I just told you, I first discovered at the stall.
Also I have not put any mods in my game since July 20 when I took them out to do the update. And yes, I deleted localthumbcache too, so it can't be mod-related.
Similar to the treats when you first use them you learn to make/buy more.
@AppleBlossom3 I personally haven't been able to buy super fertilizer from the crop field but maybe my Sim needs more skills ?
I have Hassle free and vitality. I can't remember what I used but I think I used more than just those two (incl. Super)
- @jpkarlsen That makes sense; I did use the Hassle Free Fertilizer. But it doesn't explain why the Super option disappeared. In my game, it's similar how I used to see CL festivals in the calendar beforehand, and now they don't show up until they start. Things just disappear.
I'm not really bothered by this, I just wanted to chime in for the OP. @crinrictI don't think it has to do with skill. I had the option at the very beginning when I created the game. Then it went away. My sim is higher in skill now than at the beginning.
EDIT: Sorry, I didn't mean "create", I meant started playing CoL. I created the save during Sim Sessions and only played one day until CoL came out.
- @AppleBlossom3 Using the super fertilizer didn't make it appear for me either but I'm pretty sure I never had it. Haven't been playing much though as things have been busy.
I tend to get these every other time I clean a Shed or a coop. Since I have 5 total I have a lot of those in my inventory. Luckily I can sell some of them.
My sim is at level 9 gardening, so I don't think it's skill based
@crinrict I saw it on James Turner's let's play! He was still able to buy the super vitality straight from the crop after the game released for everyone, so I just assumed that I could too. But now I only find it in the gardening stall and when I clean out the animal shed/chicken coop. Maybe they changed it to make it more special
- @Jennahoot Was that in his early access videos ? If so, yes, it's very possible they changed that since then.
