My Sim adopted the kitten fixed already.
I do have the newest patch.
Maybe the cone will go away eventually on its own then.
The kitten has been playing with the bird toy underneath, so she definitely knows it's there.
I will try traveling with her.
Kittens can't get into the cat towers. They can play with the toys and can nap on the floor level.
I didn't think she could jump up there, but it won't let her nap on the floor level of the tower - it was greyed out and said the thing about the cone.
I haven't played since yesterday. Obviously there isn't an actual solution to the mysterious invisible cone.
That's fine, call it unsolved. I don't need further communication about this.
