Reaper's Rewards: Planting Flowers/Trees not checking off

No matter how many times I plant flowers and which sim I do it with, it doesn't count towards my challenge. I deleted everything from the mod folder - that doesn't change anything. Edit By Crinrict...

I can get the rest of week 2's quests, but no matter where I plant the apple and cherry trees, whether they're sheltered or out of doors, even if I wait for them to reach maturity, the tasks do not show as done.
