No matter how many times I plant flowers and which sim I do it with, it doesn't count towards my challenge. I deleted everything from the mod folder - that doesn't change anything.

I've spent literal weeks trying to fix this problem but nothing is working. No matter what I do the "Plant a Snapdragon" and "Plant a Lily" never go away, so now I've been stuck on week one for almost a month now. I have no idea how to update "Better Build Buy" so I just removed it from my game like some forums said to do and it still doesn't work. I tried it with the same sim I started the challenge with and it isn't doing anything. Nothing I've done has worked.
EA Help has done anything but help and I've really started to give up on the game atp. What am I doing wrong???
I'm having trouble completing the 'digging holes' part of the Reaper's event in Sims 4. I’ve planted an apple and a cherry, but the tasks aren’t registering as completed. I've tried deleting the accountDataDB.package file and repair the game files, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions to this issue?
I have deleted the game fully even all my saves and all mods, re installed with out any mods at all and still cant get this one to work and its causing me to lose out on everything. i have no idea what else i can do.

Well I went to the hints - looked at it. saying in starter fruit pack (okay done that) make sure its indoors so its in season (okay done that - MULTIPLE TIMES) and yet I havent completed the quest. Ive planted them all over my sims lot both inside and out. and still nothing! I have been stuck on this quest for over a week!! what am I doing wrong? Please help!
