Objects break way too often it is very annoying, I would suggesting making it occur less often.
The worst part is that it seems to be on a timer. I once bought 5 sprinklers and all 5 broke at the exact same time.
@ID-Christian if you have a Sim with high Handiness Skill they can upgrade many items and make them more reliable, including the Sprinklers. I agree they break way too often.
I've just been talking about this on another thread but if you have Get to Work you could sell upgraded items in a retail store. I'm unsure as to which items you can do this with, I'm going to be testing it myself soon.
Or you could upgrade some items and save them to your library.
I have done that, but if I want to play with new sim that I dont want to focus on handy skill then it is very annoying. The balance feels very off, especially if you play with long lifespan - every breaks all the time.
