[R&L] How do I cheat the Rivalry Start Fail cooldown away?
My Sim tried to declare a rivalry against the Landgraab dynasty but it failed. I've been hanging around the Landgraab lot for over 24 hours waiting to be able to try again and I still can't. I'm out of patience.
I have already used MCCC to try and remove any hidden cooldown buffs but my Sim doesn't appear to have any. I've looked at her statistics. Nothing to indicate a rivalry cooldown there, either. I've deleted the visible moodlet that came up for both my Sim and Nancy. That didn't do it. I've even extracted the tuning and searched for what buff could be causing the cooldown there with no luck.
Someone please just tell me how to cheat it before I just obliterate the entire Landgraab dynasty out of frustration. 😅
Well I managed to figure it out before I got any replies so if anyone else wants to clear the cooldown after failing to start a rivalry so you can attempt again, here's how:
Unlike most other cooldowns, the rivalry declaration cooldown is not a hidden buff. It's a hidden short term relationship bit. You can delete the hidden bit by using MCCC. Click on the Sim you recently failed to start a rivalry with, and select MC Command Centre > Relationships > Relationship Bits > Remove Relationship Bit. The bit you're looking for is called "shortTermBit_Dynasty_RivalryCooldown". Remove that bit and your Sim can attempt to declare a rivalry on that Sim again.
