Roof Solar Panels Randomly Stop Working

Hi, 

Over the past few weeks of playing sims I have noticed that when I used the Solar Panels (Roof Ones) they function properly for a period of time. However after a period of time (Couple of hours if I am lucky) its like they convert into decorations.

The Green Lights in the top corner disappear and they don't contribute at all to the power utility or my bills.

I'm not sure if anything else may be having the same issue or know how to fix it?

I have Geothermal as one of my lot traits as well.

I have every Expansion Pack, Stuff Pack, Kit, etc. (I have everything they have officially released for Sims 4 thus far except for the Lovestruck Expansion Pack)
