ROOFS

Roofing on PC is a few steps ahead of roofing on console too. When we've been asked to give feedback on console controls I've pleaded for more options for roofing. I'm ok with some aspects of it but I love complicated roofing and it can be a little argumentative on Xbox! (Full disclosure I'm hoping the new Sims Merch Store starts selling plushie plumbobs so I can hurl one at my screen while roofing!)

It would be good to have a few auto roof options like auto roof with skylight, auto roof modern, auto roof basic for example.

Even something like the pre made room options we can place in build mode would be good. A section for pre made roofing, if we couldn't have an auto roof option in this current incarnation of the game. 

I'd also like an option for the roofing that has just the tiles and no body. On console I can only do those in an awning style, attached to a house with the body hidden and not in a full roof style if that makes sense. I can't get rid of the actual body of the roof and just have the top (you'd never know my late dad was a contractor by how badly I describe it 🤦) but I've seen PC builds with roofing like that for car ports and structures of that nature. So an option to place a roof like that would end the need to throw things at the screen...and my cat can breathe a sigh of relief.
