@niyaflotte did you know there's a kit release in the next few months for the Mediaeval Castle Kit (I think that's what they're calling it) so that might help you create the right setting.
If you have Vintage Glamour you can hire a butler. I've created live in maid/staff and nanny characters but made them a part of the household in CAS and done it that way before, it kind of works. There are uniforms depending on what content you have. I like the Dine Out uniforms.
I'm looking forward to building a castle with the new kit. With some of the content already in the game I've seen it done before. Windenburg is ideal to place a castle. But I'm looking forward to seeing what a difference the new kit will make and what content it will add.
I know exactly what you mean about government. With the political career that arrived with City Living, even when my Sims make it to the top it's not a massive difference to their lives. I think I expected more. I build them a presidential mansion but they're still just like a regular Sim on the street. I tried making them famous so that at least other Sims would react to them but then they were just a celebrity. I think it would be good to have a political fame angle instead of them mixing at awards nights with actors, streamers, etc.
I'm on Xbox Series X so I can't use mods.
