Running slow and crashing mid gameplay

This has been happening for a very long time. At one time it was fixed but now it happens quite often. The game for one comes on and says i missing packs i will restart the game and than it may work after 3 times. Than for about the first 30 minutes of gameplay it works fine than all of a sudden the people im playing with freezes up but the surrounding people and cars still move but the time would be froze as well. Than it just shuts down  once every game play. It starting to become a problem where you dont even want to play and i pay alot of money for this game and add ons. Does anyone have a solution or still going thru this problem?? I have a HP ALL inone  computer but it started over the past year before it worked fine.
