I was booting up the game like normal when all of a sudden it refused to open. The game loaded I could see it but it wouldn't open. I disabled all of my mods and restarted my computer and now my saves won't load. A glitched out family with a horse (I do not own the horse ranch expansion pack) appears and I keep getting an error notification that the sims 4 delivery updates can't go through.

Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
- Please also provide any LastException/LastCrash files in your documents folder. Upload them to either google or oneDrive and post the link here.
I don't have any mods and I'm playing on PC. I wasn't able to get the file but I did see an error code: 00000008:00000000000000c8 something to do with sims delivery.
what security software are you using ? Are you using controlled folder access from Windows Defender ? Make sure the exe file isn't blocked by that.
