I'm playing on a laptop (Lenovo), my sims aren't stuck at work they just disappear and have the lightning bolt thing next to them even though it says they're at home. If they stay like that even after trying to fix it then the game just stops opening and the EA app opens up. Everything gets deleted even after backing up my saved game files when deleting the actual game and they get stuck almost immediately after I create my sims. I've tried repairing the actual game in the EA app and Steam but for some reason I don't see the repair option.

I would gladly provide a picture, however, I can't seem to figure out how to screenshot on this computer and it's not letting me upload a picture from my phone...I'm sorry.
It's probably too big in size. Try to size it down.
Are you on PC or Mac ? You should just be able to use c to take a screenshot or if your on windows, try the snipping tool and take a pic of just the area.
