Sell just one of something from personal inventory on PS4

In the personal inventory, how to I specify the number of an item I want to sell?  I don't want to sell the entire stack and I'm certainly not going to place 50 of them in the world.

Is there a way to split the stack or sell a certain number of them?

    @Esamerelda  When you want to sell only a couple items you can press R2 with the item selected. This will bring up a window with individual items and you can then press triangle to sell them one by one. It's not a split stack, but it does let you sell what you want without selling all the item. 

    Being able to split stacks would be fantastic though!

    @Esamerelda We've been asking for features like this (stack splitting and inventory sorting), so hopefully they will be for forthcoming. At this point you will need to:

    • Click on the sim to make them active.
    • Open their personal inventory. 
    • Either: Click and drag the stack of apples to the small 'sell' area that will activate on the left when you're dragging them (with the simoleons icon in it), or...
    • Click on the number of the item with multiples (ie... If in their inventory they have a stack of 5 apples... Click the "5" in the box to open the stack in a window above the rest of the inventory items.) Now you can drag the individual apples to the sell box with the simoleons icon to sell them.

    Thanks @PoptartJuniper !  I wish it were easier when it came to wanting to sell 20 of something, but this is better than nothing.  Much appreciated!
