I tried to start knitting another project, and my sim says the walking pattern with the X and won't walk there to knit. I can however walk to the rocking chair and sit in it, and even with the yarn box in my inventory it still won't let me knit. How do I fix this!?
@nads180 and @karuminu396 , was this a chair that you have used before and it suddenly stopped working, or is it a new chair you just placed? Some of the placement and routing issues can effect this for some reason.
Also, if this was a chair that you have used before in that same location, when did you first notice it not working? 🤔 I checked the Bug Report List and it wasn't listed on there, so if it is a bug it would probably be a new one, as we did have a game patch a week ago.
Finally, since you said they can both sit and rock in the chair, have you tried to sit in the chair and then direct your Sim to start knitting from a seated position?🤔 I tried this and even when they said their route to the chair was blocked, once they just sat in the chair they could start knitting if I directed them to do so. 🙂
@PugLove888Yeah when I first saw the post I was gonna suggest to the OP to have his/her Sims sit and start knitting. So my guess was right! 😆
Also I thought the yarn box they mentioned was what you could use from the Sim's Inventory to make them knit so I didn't want to risk saying something they already tried (which was sitting and using it). ☺️
Plus since I don't have the pack your advice is so much more useful than mine (which only would've been "Did you have the Sim sit down before knitting?", lol). 😆

@crinrict thank you for adding the Bug Report! 😇 I couldn't find it on the list for some reason🤷♀️ , but I suspected that it might be a bug that started after the game patch from last week!
@karuminu396 , hmmm that is odd, i tried it on different chairs (and all 4 rocking chairs) and in different locations and I was able to get them to knit if they were sitting already, I don't use Mods or CC either. 🤷♀️
