Sim getting embarrassed moodlet from walking in on no one in shower?

My child sim keeps acting like their parent is actively using the shower whenever I try to send them to take one. They walk up to the shower and then get the embarrassed moodlet for invading someone's privacy. There is no one in the bathroom and I don't think that they have walked in on their parent before either? Its made it where my sim will literally not use the shower at all.
