Sim lost baby - Has this happened to anyone?

I had two separate sims fall pregnant on their own (I received the news in neighborhood stories) and I noticed they were due at the same time, so I made a maternity hospital and moved both Sims into the "hospital" (house) so they could deliver at the same time and I could get good photos. As expected, they both went into labor and then the music sounded and said Sim 1 was having a baby. A second later, a message said that Sim 2 was also having a baby.  I saw them both, they were both standing in front of a bassinet (different ones obviously) with pregnant stomachs. The name window popped up and said Sim 1 had had a boy baby, I named him and pressed enter, a second window popped up saying Sim 1 had also had a baby girl, I named the baby, pressed enter and waited for the window to name Sim 2's baby. It didn't come! I looked at Sim 2, no pregnant belly, no sign of a baby, no newborn moodlet Both babies definitely belong to Sim 1 and Sim 2 is definitely not pregnant anymore. I presume it glitched when they delivered at the same time and one had twins but I've never ever had that happen to me before. Has anyone ever had the same thing happen to them?
