Sim still catches fire when using toilet

I never had this problem when it was trendy, but since the Dec. update I am. Right now I'm using the Eco Living toilets in the apartment my sim lives in but they aren't upgraded. Both of her roommates have caught fire lol... the toilets are not upgraded, btw.

I'm going to swap out toilets to see if it still happens, but if it weren't for the stressed moodlet, I'd find it completely hilarious (until it happens to my sim and not her roomies, at least).
