Sim with Distinguished Economics Degree Can't Get Career Level Start Higher

My sim has a distinguished degree in economics from Foxbury, with honors. She got all A+'s in each class, has her graduation portrait and diploma in her inventory. She also has the trait under Degree...

When looking at the Career options panel, try seeing if there is an option to join the Management  or Investor career and either Marine Biologist or Environmental Manager career.
