Thanks for letting me know the code can only be used once :D will wait until I get my gaming PC to even see if the code works. Hey do you know of a way place I can see if a code is valid or not?
In addition to what Kreatora says, after you've entered the code into Origin it will likely give you an error of code has been redeemed or something along those lines. This is how you will know the code has already been used.
If you would like to check further, download Origin onto your new computer. Login and go to Game Library and check to see if Sims 4 is there ready to be downloaded.
Installing Origin and Sims 4 onto the temporary desktop won't hurt. You can still after getting a new gaming laptop install Origin and Sims 4 on it and play the game.
