sims 4 cottage living why do verdant mushrooms turn to wild mushrooms?

I have specifically planted verdant mushrooms on my lot but when it comes to harvesting them the option is "harvest wild mushrooms" instead of "harvest verdant mushrooms".

In the screenshot you can see the mushroom is labeled verdant mushrooms but when I click to harvest it says "harvest wild mushrooms"

and in these screenshots you can see it is labeled verdant mushrooms as well but it says "harvest verdant mushrooms"

 When my sim harvested them they both show up as verdant mushrooms in his inventory, but I also have had them show up as wild mushrooms. What gives?
