I do agree with you, @kelseycarm0930. In the Sims 3, I was always working on editing patterns, colours and brushes. I made my own wallpapers and printed T-shirts with all sorts of objects from the game itself.
Of cours there still is the possibility to make your own custom content with the use of quite a few programs but one needs to have some skills in operating these programs and one does need to understand the working of meshes etc.
Because I liked it too and would love to see something of the possibility of editing back in the game I'll give you a 'Me too'.
