Well, if you are gonna buy a laptop, I would recommend 17, if it's not a home-laptop (you aren't gonna bring it outside the house that much), then I might go for a 19-inch.
If you have a stationary computer, I think 19 is enough to make sure the icons doesn't shrink (17 might be but not as sure, but a lot of people play on laptop so it might be fine). For your own gaming-experience though I would recommend 21 or 24 for a stationary computer.
But then also make sure that the screen allows the game to run in even higher resolution, something like 1920x1080. 🙂

@CMeki& @PeanutShell1016 , I have a 19 inch monitor on my stationary computer but my icons still shrink when I have a lot of Sims as members of my household. But my resolution is 1366 x768 , so that might be the difference. ( I just thought everyones' icons shrank when a certain number of household members were created or added to your current household.) 😉

I just tested the game on my sisters 17 inch laptop, and with 1920x1080 resolution the icons did not shrink! 🙂
- 8 years agoThanks, but do you have an idea of how to check how high the resolution will go? Like, what type of laptop will I need to get the 1920x1080? 🙂

Resolution is always specified when you look a t technical details.
