Sims 4 Knifty Knitting Baby Onesie won't add to Wardrobe

I crafted my first baby onesie in the sims 4, and when I click on it it doesn't say add to wardrobe. Do I need to click on a baby to change them into the outfit? None of the other clothing items work that way. Please help, I really want the babies to wear the onesies.

    @CrazedWolfPuppy 

    Babies do not have a wardrobe. If your Sim have a baby onesie (Do not confuse with Toddler onesie) in inventory there should be an option to put it on the baby.
