sims 4 legacy edition and "unusable" packs
Soo I'm probably really late on this topic but I just got a notification that I need the sims 4 legacy edition. However the packs included don't include tiny living and discover university, will my game not work if I don't get it? like will I lose my games and progress? It is really frustrating because I spent a lot of money on these packs and I genuinely don't want to lose any of them. I'm also not super great with a lot of technical stuff mainly the basics and a couple other things. If someone could give me some answers I would greatly appreciate it, thank you all who read this!
@allmypets12 It's true that Discover University and Tiny Living don't run at all in the Legacy Edition. But just as importantly, saves that have been played on a higher patch level than the LE, so any save played in the standard version since mid-November, won't open in the LE. If you've been playing the standard version since then and now download the LE, you'll have to put aside your saves and start from scratch.
Are you sure your computer needs the LE? Some people get that message when their systems do in fact support the standard version. If you want clarification, pleaes run a dxdiag and attach it to a post (Windows):

or list the full specs of your Mac, including operating system, as described here:
