Hello it is March 9th, 2025, and my sims is not working. It was working fine yesterday and when I opened it earlier on the 9th. It then stopped working, it gets to the loading screen and then the plumbo disappears and it no longer continues to load. If anyone has any way to fix this please lmk
Do you have mods? First off, if you do, remove the Mods folder, then try to open your game again. If that works, then check to make sure your mods are updated. If updated, then move only the ones you absolutely need into the Mods folder and see if the game still opens up. It's a slow process, but I had to do this twice. If things work, then you can add a mod to the folder. Keep this up until you find the game won't open up. Then realize which last mod you placed and tell it goodbye.
If all else fails, do a game repair. I hope this helps. Best of luck.
0671689I recommend taking your mods folder out completely and removing your localthumb cache and cachestr
If that doesn't work try repairing the game
Last tip I have is making sure your one drive is paused from syncing just click the one drive located in your tray locate to the top corner where you see settings and simply find pause syncing
