Sims 4 parenthood aspirations (full parent mode)

I'm currently trying to do the parenting aspirations and I'm stuck trying to get my Sims into full parent mode. 

I know that I'm supposed to do 4-5 parental interactions to get it to work, but it's not. I was wondering if the fact I have need perks from the aspiration reward store is somehow blocking it? Such as hardly hungry, steel bladder etc...

I'm playing on ps4 and not using cheats outside of move objects. 

Has anyone else ran into this or knows a possible workaround?
