Sims 4 This is not the update I was looking for...

January update, first one of the new year drops, finally I've been checking for it for weeks as I have so many fundamental issues in my Sims 4 game. But this is the update we've waited so long for......

I feel you. I haven't been able to launch my game in more than a month. My game launches and then closes with no error message, and I have tried EVERYTHING the support has suggested and what I could find, and nothing has worked.
Last time I was told this was a known issue that would be fixed with the next patch - only it didn't!

I am so frustrated and I can't even get through to the support through anything but e-mail - which almost never gets responded to.

@cowoline Btw have you tried a phone call with them? My country doesn't have EA's call centre service so I had to call to the UK one but I got help from there when I had the exact same issue as you. The game wouldn't launch at all but I finally got it fixed with the person on phone. I was also stuck with no tech support until I just decided that if I call there they can't just hang up with me lol

    If you call another country(help-line) by careful from the cost. I had to make a call in another country and the cost alone for each minute was expensive.
