I'm having an issue with my Sims being unable to put their food away in the refrigerator after the cook & eat it. They act like something is blocking their route and they can't get to the refrigerator, even if I put it outside or in the middle of a room without anything nearby. They can take things out of the refrigerator just fine, but they can't put anything away. Is anyone else having this problem?
As of today since the update, mine can only put food they've cooked away, but not produce or fish. They can't drag it into the fridge, and they can't open the fridge and put it in. I've tried several different fridges and it's all the same.
@texxasrose I have consulted with several friends and tested in my game. I could confirm what you said (produce and fish did not have the option to have the Sims add them to the refrigerator (put away). I normally just drag them in (which still works, as I tested today, but you said you can do that), so I had not noticed this, but I'm told it has always been this way.... fish and harvestables have never had the option to have your Sim 'put away' those items.

Just wanted to add that the harvestables have to be edible to be dragged into the fridge. Flowers are not accepted.
I can have my sims put food in my fridge, but I can not drag the food into the fridges, I can not open the fridge to put away produce- such as carrots, I can not put produce on the bench and then drag it into the fridge either. I do not have the mentioned bag in my house and first encountered it in a furnished house my sims brought that was part of the original map designed (from the pet expansion not downloaded from the gallery. I brought a second fridge in that lot and it worked. but moved to another lot and now neither fridge works. Not using any mods
I have just started having this issue as well after the April patch. My sim was able to put food away before the update, however now she cannot. I built her house for her from scratch, very few MOO, on the 40 x 40 open lot in Oasis Springs.
To test I added her boyfriend to household, he was also unable to put away food.
They are able to take food out of the fridge, and I'm able to open it and add food to it; however they cannot put away the food themselves- whether it is homemade food, delivered, or made by another sim.
I had no mods in at this time, and just a few CC hairs.
I'm at a loss. ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
@Firestaar1 If this issue also occurs in other households in your game, please try the following to test if the issue is present after removing the Mods folder and the named cache file. You can test it in a new game save without saving:
try uploading the lot to your library and placing it on amother lot. see if that helps. if that doesn't help, or you used debif, try removing it.
EA/ sims team: can you please fix fridge bug that happens from having zoomers debug delivery bag and cottage living debug grocery bag on lot, it makes sims unable to put food in fridge unless we drag it in ourselves. We really want to be able to use the cute grocery bag especially, as a clutter item; or at least make us a grocery bag clutter item in a future update or add it in a pack. Please sims team :')
