Sims Death Information

If a visiting Sim dies without any visible reason they died of old age.

If the sim was a playable and has other playable relatives, you can look in one of their family trees and it will usually tell you what a dead sim in the tree died of.

Another way is look at the color of the ghost and if they have any animations on the ghost like leaving puddles.  That will give you a clue if you know the signs for each death type but not always since some of them look almost the same.  Sometimes when you mouse over the ghost, it will tell you too.

Oh yes, anger is one of the emotional deaths.  So, if the ghost is red and when you talk to it, the little panel at the top center of the screen should say the sim is angry.
