@otakumadness Is it just the one family in that save or all of them ?
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.
If that is the case, please upload them to a new post in this thread.
Please either create a .rar file to upload or copy/paste the content into your post.

I just checked and it's only this one family. Other families in this save don't seem to have this problem.
I deleted all the "lastexception" files and attempted to trigger the glitch again. At first I thought it was fixed because I tried to trigger it again and my toddler sim and her (adult) caregiver both were able to "grab a serving" just fine from a group-sized food. But then other Sims in my family refused to "grab a serving" so another last exception file was created.
Not sure how to create an rar file--the "lastexception" is a txt file, but here is the content from the last exception file:

- @otakumadness Could you try if it helps if you delete every single food item you find on the lot, then try again ?
If this does not help, please try the family on another lot to narrow down if its the family or the lot that's causing issues,
