yes its quite similar. from the sound of it, their sims will unfreeze or freeze at different times. all mine do so at the same time and don't seem to unfreeze at all.

@JMoldypotato Could you try if it gets better if you turn off autonomy (for testing)
There's also this issue: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Can-t-switch-between-Sims/td-p/13907460 but I believe that's just a symptom of the freezing,

It seemed to have helped a little when I played for a short time, but I played again for longer (I think), and the freezing persisted even with autonomy off. The whole family froze again. This problem did end up happening with a few of the children's households as well. They are much smaller, however, one of the households has 4 the other 5. The only thing that has changed between now and then with said households is they also now have infants. (the parent household also does as well) maybe that has something to do with it?
as for the other issue you linked I do experience that every time the freezing happens. Im no longer able to switch active sims w/o pausing but tbh switching sims is useless if they no longer do what I ask and freeze.
sorry for a long time to respond I wanted to make sure that it did/didn't work before answering.- crinrict11 months agoHero+@JMoldypotato The switch is on the laundry list so it should be fixed soonish. I guess best is if you wait and post back after the patch how it's going.
