Sims frozen during house party

I was trying to have a house party with 3 sims, when they just froze and cannot stop what they are doing.  As they are in an event i cannot go to the menu of worlds, and i dont want to ruin the event...

is this with or without mods/cc ? What platform are you on ?

Does this happen every time you have a party ? Any other occasions ?

Is the build issue related to the freezing or is this something you generally see ?
