Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game.

If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

I dont have a mods folder,  I dont have any mods in my game

You will have a Mods folder anyway.

@amard89 Hi!  I've read a number of articles and posts from people having this issue.  Mostly are caused by mods and cc but there were a few cases in which the players did not have them.  As @jpkarlsen suggested, you should delete the localthumbcache.package and maybe clear the other cache folders/files.  There are instructions and a list of those in this article.

Once the cache is cleared, perhaps try repairing your game.  According to some other posts, it may take two to three times or more for it to work.

I dont see a cache folder

I didnt check create a sim but when I went to play my game they all had red faces while I was controlling my sims etc

Do you think if I uninstall my game reinstall that will work

Will I.lose my sims though?
