Sims Keep Fighting me?

I made a new sim and play in Glimmerbrook, and 2 sims from the welcome party fought me before I even introduced myself. I don't have eco living neighborhood stuff (re: roughhousing) on. The only new thing I did was use the overachiever trait. So maybe that's is it? I know the trait is supposed to make it harder to get along with other sims but to have them just fight off the bat is crazy.
