Sim's outfit randomised while saving game

My Sims were in their sleepwear, sitting on their bed together, both wearing sleepwear from the new Royalty & Legacy pack. I clicked save, and the game randomised my male Sim's outfit to a filthy looking ranch atire and his hair changed and became patchy, like broken cc, but I don't have cc. I changed him into his everyday, which worked fine, then into his sleepwear again, but he changed back into the same outfit the game generated for him while it was saving. In the choose outfit menu and the Sim panel in the bottom left corner, his clothes appeared as his normal sleepwear, but what he was wearing in the game didn't. I went into CAS through the edit likes and dislikes menu, looked at his sleepwear, which was what I put him in, then went back into live mode, changed him into his sleepwear, and he seemed to be back to normal.

I think this is related, but later when his wife was talking to him, his picture in her action que didn't match his face, the skin was darker, his hair was different both style and colour, and he was missing his beard. Although he and his picture in the conversation menu remained his usual self.

This all coincides with after I moved their large palace onto their lot. They live in the 64x64 lot in Ordarion. The palace is much bigger and has more than what I previously had there, but it's my only edited lot in a new save I started after getting Royalty & Legacy.

I'm on Windows 11 PC, and have no mods or cc.
