Sims Survey Error

I asked EA support this question, and after they investigated it, I was told in their chat to ask in this specific forum instead even though it's not directly related to gameplay.

I received the email "Take a survey to earn a $5 EA App coupon" and did the Sims 4 survey, but on the coupon code page, only a little rectangle showed up, and there was no code. Then on the last step of the survey, I clicked "Next" and got an error message. It was a very time-consuming survey, and I'm concerned my answers didn't go through at all? Did this happen to anyone else? I took screencaps of both errors and have attached them here.

  • I was sent here as well after contacting an EA Advisor. I was able to see the code and screenshot it but when I attempted to redeem it I just got a message stating "Your code cannot be processed at this time. Try again later.".

    Was just referred here after working with an EA advisor for half an hour. I provided the code I received after completing the survey, a screenshot of the code when it was given, screenshots of all error codes, and a screenshot of the email sent out by EA.

    I was referred here too. I was able to retrieve the code, but when I try to use it, it says it's no longer valid or has already been used. When I tried a couple weeks ago, it said it doesn't apply to items in my cart. I found out through customer service that it was because the DLC was a preorder. I asked if there was an expiration date, and they said it didn't expire, but now that the game is out, I'm getting this error, and after multiple chats with customer service, they said to post or upvote here.

    On January 28th, I completed a survey for EA. The reward for this survey was a $5 reward to use when making a purchase. I received a code and took a picture of my code so I could enter it in when attempting to purchase the newest sims 4 pack/bundle. The survey did not specify if the reward could or could not be used on certain packs. It could be user error as I am not sure where to enter the code, but everywhere I have attempted to enter the code does not work. I have tried EA wallet, the EA app, and the promo code box at checkout. If anyone has had the same issue and resolved it, please let me know. I spent about 45 minutes completing that survey and I will be disappointed if I cannot use my reward.

    I am having the same issue! I wish they would just help us resolve it instead of just grouping us all together.  I saw one EA staff mention that you have to use the code at checkout, but I am unaware of where to enter the code because the promo code and EA wallet boxes both don't work.

    I tried your method and IT WORKED! I hope this helps fix the issue for all of us! I attached a screenshot so everyone can see where the "apply promo code" button is, hope it helps!

    I'm glad it worked! I tried it again and it's saying that it doesn't apply to the items in my cart (I am trying to buy the new expansion pack bundle as I have every other pack +Kit) I understand why this would not work but I wish they had specified the limitations. Enjoy your kit, It's a good one!!
